  H. The " Miss" rule must be applied in all matches and it is up to the referee to be consistant in his / her interpretation to promote fair play to both players.

    Postponement of League Matches

1 Due to the fact that teams can register as many players as possible up to Dec. 31st of that season, postponement at very short notice is not allowed. Any offending team will be fined 6pts.

2 Any team committing this offence more than twice in a season will be expelled from the league and will not be allowed to compete the following season or their registered players.
Also all players concerned will not be allowed to play for anyone else during the current season. So even if you only have one player available it would be in your teams best interest to attend the match and forefeit any frames left over.

Exceptional circumstances will be left up to the committee`s discretion.

3 Matches may now only be postponed through the match sec. giving at least 14 days in advance of the match in question. A team can only postpone a match if their opponents can mutually agree on that match being played within a calender week of the original match date.

    Registration of Players

1 Any team may register a player on the night as long as they inform the relevant Match secretary (Spencer Symmons or Neil Fairbrother) before 7.30pm.

2 Playing a non-registered player will result in that team losing the match 5-0 and the team will also be deducted 2pts for every non-registered player who plays on the night.

Players may transfer from one team to another within the same division only ONCE durring the 1st 6 matches of the season. The Match Sec. must be informed before he/she plays.

3 A player can only play twice for another team from the same club who are in a higher / another division. Once he/she has played 3 times they cannot go back to their original team till the following season. If they have entered any comps in a different division or league then they must forfeit.

    Conduct

1 Any registered team or player whose behaviour is prejudicial to the interest of the CDSA shall under the discretion of the committee be suspended from all matches for the rest of the current season and their acceptance to the league for the following two seasons be refused.

2 Any disputes arising from matches played in league or competitions must be submitted in writing to the committee and will then be clarified at the next league meeting. Captains and / or players involved must be present.

    Professionals

Professional players must concede 50pts per frame.

Professional players will not be allowed to play in any league competitions.

    Competition Rules

1 All clubs must have an up to date copy of the rules of snooker displayed or available upon request for future reference.

2 The "Miss " rule still applies in competitions as with league matches.

3 League comp fees are £2.50p.p for singles and £5.00 for pairs ( £2.50p.p equivalent ). The team handicap competition will be £5 per team.
